A Bit of Background
Central Tacloban Filipino - Chinese Volunteer Fire Brigade Incorporated, formerly Tacloban Filipino - Chinese Volunteer Fire Brigade Incoporated was established in 1996 and was re-organized last 2016 and presently headed by Fire Chief Alvin M. Cahingcoy. The organization has 120 members composed of firefighters and emergency medical personnel, who are professionals and student volunteers willing to be of service to the community. The organization offers services such as fire suppression, search and rescue, emergency medical transport, non-emergency medical transport, standby medical operation, fire awareness/prevention lectures, fire suppression lectures, hazmat awareness lectures and civic activities involving environmental protection.

Medical Standby Operations For Special Events
At Central Tacloban Filipino-Chinese Volunteer Fire Brigade, Inc., Standby Operations is a means to have an effective preparedness and prevention to ensure the safe keeping of the business in our community.


Fund Raising
Celebrating the Chinese New Year. Lion and Dragon dance is the main source of funding for the organization. That only happens once within a year for only four days.
